由于童年的获救经历，初中三年级生Q（绪方惠美配音）立志成为侦探。虽然年纪不大，但Q拥有着敏锐的观察力和极强的逻辑推理能力，这样的他具备着成为侦探的重要素质。为了完成梦想，Q参加了団守彦（田中秀幸配音）创立的侦探学院入学考核，然而，考试的结果里，他同拥有瞬间记忆能力的少女美南惠（桑岛法子配音）、身手了得的远山金太郎（石川英郎配音）、电脑天才明沢数马（川上朋子配音），以及同样拥有天才级推理能力的天草流（远近孝一配音）四人被编入了奇怪的“Q班”。 在Q班里，他们发挥着自己的特殊能力破解了一桩又一桩令人费解的悬案，然而，在这些案件的背后，一个叫做“冥王星”的组织出现在了大家的面前。。Marie and Antoine live together.
