在东南亚的巴度村，因为一个工厂秘密排放污水，形成了一只变异巨蜥。优秀的猎人胡天明，正带着亚太卫生组织的赵小叶进行野外考察。行进中，他们偶遇了上山维修信号的巴度村村长、胡天明的哥哥胡天照。赵小叶通过生物习性找到了巨蜥的居所，然而巨蜥远比想象凶猛，经过一系列追击，所有人被迫困在工厂。一场逃生之旅由此展开。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
