公元2027年，橘一树就读的“清雅学园”，是位于距离都心稍远的郊外的男女共校高中。同时，也是以培养文武双全人才为目的的寄宿制升学学校。第二学期刚一开始，一树就突然被任命为学生会的副会长，而他最初的工作，是《PSO2》对于学业影响的调查。一树心不甘情不愿地开始玩起《PSO2》，却通过与游戏里遇到的玩家和伙伴们的接触，被PSO2的世界所吸引。不知不觉中，一树开始以不论在PSO2的世界还是现实世界的学生会都受到同伴信赖的存在为目标，有了很大的成长……。It's amazing to have finally seen this lost film. Poor Mark Burns died this year without ever having seen the finished film! Why was it lost? It's quite good but I can understand that even if this film had a normal release in cinemas it would not have been a hit. It's too sad and tragic. The performances are great, tho.
